Our website www.atu.al is an informational website. We have no online shop and do not require registration. We collect data only when you contact us voluntarily:

2b. Data recorded automatically by our website

Each time you visit our website, our system may automatically record certain technical data. This occurs on every website because it is how servers function.

This data is stored only in our server’s technical logs. We do not link it to your personal identity and do not use it to track you.

Our website does not use tracking cookies (files that follow your online behaviour) and has no analytics systems such as Google Analytics.

3. Why do we collect it and what is our legal basis?

We do not use your data for marketing purposes and never sell it.

We do not carry out automated decision-making based on your data — no computer makes decisions affecting you automatically, without human involvement.

4. How long do we retain your data?

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it, meaning we alter it so that no one can identify you from it.

5. Who may access your data?

Your message is seen only by authorised ATU staff who handle client communications. Technical logs are accessed only by ATU’s IT staff for diagnostic purposes.

We do not share your data outside ATU, except in the following cases:

  • if required by law or a court order;
  • if we engage another company to assist with our IT systems (e.g. a hosting provider) — that company is contractually obliged to protect your data in exactly the same way as we do.

We do not transfer your data outside Albania.

6. What are your rights?

Law No. 124/2024 “On the Protection of Personal Data” grants you the following rights.

8. Changes to this Policy
